A new organisation that integrates the Missing Vehicle Register (VAR); National Rest value Market (NRM) and Dutch Institute for Certification of Vehicle Security Systems (SCM). These organisations have been active in tackling vehicle crime for a long time. In time the old names will disappear from the market as they operate under the new name of VbV. The official mission statement says that the objective of the VbV Foundation is to contribute substantially in the control of losses caused by vehicle crime in general and vehicle theft in particular.
